Shoe covers are required in the mirrored rooms. Staff hand them out after the turnstiles.

The security scan is touch-free, so there's no need to take off your coat or empty your bag.

The route only goes one way. Once you leave a floor, you can't go back.

Where is the entrance to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt?

There are three: street level at 45 East 42nd Street, the Transit Hall at Vanderbilt Avenue and 43rd Street, and the Main Concourse level of Grand Central Terminal. You can't enter through the One Vanderbilt main lobby.

What should I wear?

Pants, shorts, or tights, plus flat, non-marking shoes. Many floors are reflective, and stilettos, work boots, and cleats aren't allowed.

What should I bring?

Sunglasses help in the brighter rooms. Shoe covers for the mirrored areas are provided.

Is SUMMIT One Vanderbilt wheelchair accessible?

Yes, on every level. A service elevator links the upper floors, and a few wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
